In order to thoroughly implement the requirements of anti-corruption and compliance, and actively respond to the company's call for the construction of an integrity culture, the Audit and Supervision Center and the African Region Management Headquarters have jointly made efforts.
They have adopted a dual-track approach combining 'voluntary disclosure of improper gains' and 'compliance education' to promote the implementation of anti-corruption and compliance systems, comprehensively strengthen employees' awareness of integrity and self-discipline, fostering a culture of integrity across every level of the organization.
This special anti-corruption and integrity promotion campaign of the African Resources Group focuses on two core aspects:
First, centralized surrender of improper earnings: Employees are clearly required to take the initiative to declare and return gifts, cash bribes, and other improper benefits that violate regulations.
Second, comprehensive coverage of anti-corruption education: Through forms such as case warnings and system interpretations, the campaign promotes the anti-corruption awareness to reach employees' ears, minds, and hearts.
The African Region Management Headquarters launched the campaign promptly with a high sense of responsibility and execution. In the activity of centralized surrender of employees' improper earnings, it adhered to the principles of fairness and transparency, providing clear guidance and convenient surrender channels for employees. Employees were encouraged to conduct self-examination and self-correction and take the initiative to surrender improper earnings. This is not only a correction of past mistakes but also a crucial step towards an integrity future.
A total of 38 sessions of the special anti-corruption and integrity promotion campaign were organized, training 459 employees, achieving full coverage of all organizational departments. From the company's conference rooms to project sites, the figures of presenters promoting anti-corruption and integrity could be seen everywhere. By combining theory with case explanations, they implanted the concept of anti-corruption and compliance into the hearts of every employee.
The implementation of this campaign is not only a strong implementation of the company's system but also a wide dissemination of the corporate culture. It makes integrity and anti-corruption the conscious pursuit of every employee in the Africa Resources Group, injecting spiritual impetus into the company's sustainable development in Africa.
Integrity begins with individual actions; collective commitment drives sustainable growth. Moving forward, the Audit and Supervision Center will deepen collaboration with the Africa Regional Headquarters to strengthen compliance frameworks, ensuring integrity remains cultural core to our operations in Africa.
